Okay, this afternoon's agenda has one item:  sleep.  So, I'll make this short & picture sweet.I loved the "simple" of this cake. It was very fun to put together.

Oooh...ahhh... Love, love, love it! Did you actually make those daisies?

For some reason the thought came to me that this cake would have been perfect at my parent's wedding reception (late 60s). :) But I'm sure they didn't have anything this grand.

Beautiful, beautiful! I love the close-up picture. Edible and visual art, for sure. And those brown paper bag packages were too cute. I would have trouble eating them. I loved the food coloring postage stamps. They made it perfect!

(The post about your yellow roses made me laugh! So adorable.)

Simple, my eye! It's beautiful and fancy and eye-catching and well, anything but simple.

I hope your nap does not have cakes in it.

Um do you think by chance you could fly into Des Moines next month and create Caleb's 1st b-day cake? He might have to suffer a Wal-Mart creation.

Beautiful! I'd like to know what is simple about that. We obviously inhabit two different cake-making worlds entirely.
