then there was one

This was the typical after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner, after snack scene.  A dozen abandoned plates (usually still crowded with food, but this time it happened to be gobbled because it was cake).  And one boy still savoring.  My Davyn.   He loves food.  And he'll eat anything.  And he'll clean the plates next to his when he's done with his own.  The boy can take his time, but will keep going & going & going.

This is my Carter. At birthday parties he will be the last one at the table, still going strong at all that cake. Funny to see your little guy is the same way.
