    Winter Soccer

We're halfway through. This picture was the first game.  Aidan was a powerful Defender, and he laughed maniacally as he'd boot the ball away.  And my A's maniacal laugh is something to behold.  The sheer Joy.This one was the third game.  Where I was late for the start because I went to snag donuts for the "healthy" breakfast we didn't manage at home before the early a.m. picture day start.

Jim is coaching this time.  And I enjoy watching him on the field as much as I do his mini-me #9.  Or maybe a bit more.  There's no maniacal laughing, but I do catch subdued snippets of Joy from Coach Scott.  When I stare.  Which I sometimes do.

Looks like fun. The thought of A's "maniacle laughter" made me laugh! It looks like he quite enjoys himself. Dominic used to play soccer. Though he proudly states now, "I'm a basketball player now." All those kids looks so cute in their little uniforms.

How fun to get to play in the winter. Our soccer season starts here in about a month for practice & in April for games. Lexie & Tanner can hardly wait.

Your pictures are so clear and vibrant, Amy. My two favorite lines? " And I enjoy watching him on the field as much as I do his mini-me #9." and "When I stare. Which I sometimes do. "

For some reason I just kept thinking how lucky your family is to have you behind the camera to document their special moments--love the cute photos and special times. :)

I love it when little kids have that JOY while playing sports. There's more freedom with soccer though since they all get to run around willy nilly, it's very kid friendly and maniacal-laugh inducing!

Oh, you are a very good mother. I can't stand Saturday morning athletics.

I'm grinning at the conversations you and Jim are having across the field with your eyes.

I love that the 'high-5' shot is as much of an action shot as any of the others. The enthusiasm is wonderful.

Great! I have Carter in indoor soccer to give him a place to run while it is cold outside. I'm sure he'd love the outdoor league in the spring. Hmmmm....

I must confess, I love the messy donut faces. Love them.
