    week 3:  cousins

My boys love their cousins.  They squeal in delight at the sight of them.  And I love this.  JoDee was in town with her kids this week.  Watching the whole gang interact took me back to memories of running wild in play with my own cousins.  Being close (even if it's heart ties rather than proximity) to family is a definite blessing to my boys.

    Yes! Yes! Yes!

I love watching my kids jump up and down when they see their cousins. It is a special kind of friendship, indeed.

I love, love, love having the cousins all together to play. Growing up we only got to see our cousins a couple times a year, but were still pretty close to them and super excited to spend time with them. Now my kids get to see their cousins weekly and it's such a blessing!

It is a blessing to be so close to your cousins. We also only saw ours a couple of times a year, but it was our favorite time of year when we did.

Yea for cousins! It is one of the main reasons we take our trips to see family--so our children can be with their cousins and grandparents. Wish it was more often!

Growing up my best friends were my cousins...we all lived in the same small town together. It was so great. I always wish my kids could have the same experience. Whenever the cousins are here all the rules (bedtimes, sleepovers) go out the window so we can soak it all in and squeeze the joy out of every moment.

Oh, our kids miss their cousins so much. It's such a wonderful time when they can get together. Not often enough!
