    spt:*fall* into autumn

Fall 1995 I was spoiled forever by an October trip to Vermont.  Now I have this seasonal hunger for color and crunch...neither of which are found in my hometown Arizona.  But, knowing my love & lack, a few falls later Kel sent me a Good Mail package full of her Chicago.  I'm not sure if she knows that I immediately framed the leaves.  A piece of fall that I'll keep forever beside my rolling memories of Vermont aflame.

I also added a fun bit of fall Halloween to my house last Saturday.  My mother-in-law invited all her girls and her good friend Cheryl with her girls over to do this project.  It was a blast!  Eating, sanding, painting, staining, stenciling, glittering, chatting.  A perfect Saturday morning.  Thank you for the fun project, Kay!

your leaves and your blocks are AWESOME! how cool to think to frame them. we suffer from a lack of "frame-able" leaves here, too.

and the t or t blocks are a perfect hint of the fun of the season. and they will be a great memory of a great saturday morning!

Your blocks look adorable! I'm glad you took a picture because I keep changing how I set mine up, rather Jake keeps changing it so I don't remember. And FYI I'm getting induced Saturday!!!!

Hmm, I did not know you had framed them. That is delightful to know, actually! I had framed a few of my own while we lived there, but they did not survive. Maybe the dry vs. wet climates are the difference? Anyway, so fun to see. And I love your trick or treat blocks. They are really cute. I love the colors.

Just want it officially noted that I miss you and it has been nearly a week since you've posted. So, unless you've moved in with Ras to help with the twinnines, this is not acceptable, chickawicka!
