    lost camera and Good Mail

I'm very sad because I couldn't find my camera yesterday, and I still can't find it today.  Normally this isn't a big deal...I'm hardly the picture diva, but I got GOOD MAIL from Mandy.  I want to take a picture, but that would require organizing my entire house in the search for the camera - hours, days, weeks, who knows how long that would take.  Mandy sent me some very cute homemade cards (very creative!), a flowered bookmark, and napkins.  The napkins cracked me up, because that is something I'm honestly drawn to buy.  How on earth did she know?!  My camera could tell the story by taking a picture of a certain pantry shelf that has piles of patterned napkins.  I love napkins, and the ones she got me have a very elegant design.

Thank you Mandy!  I consider you & Emily my blog sisters because we started the same week with the same Kelly influence.  It has been a delight to get to know you & it was beyond delight to get Good Mail!

I'm glad you liked the cards and napkins. I also love napkins, but then hate to use them because they are so pretty. It's how I feel about paper in general.

I would be insane if I couldn't find my camera. I love what a good mailer Mandy has become! It was very fun to chat for real today!

Yes, Mandy's prolific mail spree has made many a happy girl this week. I always knew Josh would end up with a great girl!

I hope you find your camera soon! I'd be freaking out if I couldn't find mine. I carry it in my purse at all times. I want to see your good mail from Mandy, it sounds cute!

Hopefully in the next couple of days you will discover Aidan taking pictures of all his decorations, cars, clothes (like I often find Alexis) and you will be saved from having to tear apart your house. I hate it when I can't find things. It drives me insane. So here's to a rediscovered camera with surprise pictures inside.

Thanks for the welcome on my blog! I never dreamed that the blogging world would be such a friendly place! Anyways, I understand that we share a common interest in cake decorating. Eventually I plan to post some pictures of the wedding cakes I've done. Until then, I'll enjoy looking at yours!

    Amy,
I forgot to add a note about the bookmark I made you. I know it's kind of big, but I was trying to fit a hydrangea on it. It was a new endeavor for me. I will have to practice.

Mandy-it was perfect...I read big books!
Kim - I'm pretty much an cake amateur, so I'd LOVE to see REAL cakes that you've done. Probably in a whole other realm!

I'm so excited that we're blog sisters! And to think we owe it all to our blogging mama Kelly!
