    the summer of Davyn's swimming

He finally came into his own in the pool this year.

Realizing his body is much stronger than he had previously supposed.

It took off on its own really.

    Despite his own internal Timid.

And now, there's simply no holding back...

    I so love these two.

I LOVE it when they hit their stride with swimming! I can't wait for that to happen with Eva. Great documentation, as always.

There comes a point in your life when you are no longer "stronger than you suppose." In my life more and more I usually have the opposite of Davyn's realization. It's just as shocking on the other end. But not quite as exhilerating.

    Gorgeous photos as always.

What cute photos of your boys! That's a wonderful milestone to cross (especially when you remember how hard it is to get them to that point!). My kids have all been a lot slower--I guess we're not constantly in the pool like you can get in AZ. :)

Thanks for your kind comments! We're home and doing well.

Love seeing your boys enjoy the summer in the pool! My littlest little is taking swimming lessons. How can he snowboard, bike and skateboard and not know how to swim? Honestly! It is the whole 'face in the water' issue. Hope this year is successful!
    Hope you are well!!

What happy pictures! Your boys are so beautiful. I can't wait to see pictures of your daughter when she comes. What will she look like?

We start our summer swimming lessons next week. I hope the kids take to it as joyfully as yours did.

What a huge improvement! It's so exciting when kids finally get the hang or something and lose their fears. It's thrilling for them and for us.
