    1st tooth!

to fall out.My man baby got teeth rather early, so I've been expecting loose baby teeth for the past year.  And the first didn't happen until he knocked his tooth the week before last.  He was thrilled with the extra assistance and immediately called grandmas, dad, and didn't want to stop there.  So when the tooth actually fell out last week, his grin truly grew. And so it begins.

I will eventually miss this teeny set of baby teeth.  I have never seen any quite so petite.

I miss those cute little teeth that my older kids no longer have. I am sure the tooth fairy treated him well :) How are you feeling??

Those are mighty petite! My kids got teeth late and lost them late. Losing teeth is quite a milestone, as they never look quite the same again...

It is a big deal! Our first missing tooth was last fall. Carter, a total corn on the cob fiend, had left his cob untouched at dinner and when I asked why he told me it made his tooth hurt. I investigated and there were TWO very loose teeth that fell out within the week. Wow.

Glad he was so happy about it!

They are teensy. Do you think mammoth tusks will replace them?

    How was the birthday trip?

    Indeed.

I love that you called him your "man baby". Such a fitting description for that boy.

His teeth are petite! But, you know what? My boys all have big, crowded baby teeth and they are an orthodontic nightmare (thankfully, we have a local uncle who happens to be an orthodontist. Phew).

    What a cutie.
