    I did it again?!

The true beauty of my December was Miss Azure Mae on her blessing day last Sunday, but we've yet to sit down for a photo shoot in her (handmade by my genius friend Emma) dress.

So instead I'll post a picture of what I swore I'd never do again...

    wedding cake.

Which really ended up to be much more pleasant the second time around, so thanks for the chance, Shanon.  And for the picture taken at the party..

...AND those who know me (or don't!), PLEASE pester me until I get those pictures of my Little Miss taken.  And before she grows out of Emma's divine little creation (go here for a sans baby girl glimpse)!
I need some serious prodding to get things done these days.

Thank you.  and you.  and you.

That is so beautiful! You did it again. You just make the most beautiful cakes. Simply gorgous. I love the diamonds in the fondant; they are so even!

And I cannot wait until I get to see Little Azure in her dress. I will take your petition to pester very seriously. Be warned.

Whoa. On both accounts. The cake is elegant. I'm glad you broke your never again chant. And the dress is beautiful, too. When you said you hadn't gotten around to taking pictures I thought, "Huuuuuurrrryyyyy Amy, she'll outgrow it and photo-shopping her in just won't be the same."

Wonderful job on a beautiful cake! That is such a big project! It looks amazing on the table--the colors are stunning.

Waiting for the pictures of Azure! I think of her name often--I keep coming across azure. :)

Beautiful! If only I had known you when Josh and I were getting married. Living in Aizona at the time probably would have helped too! You are wonderfully talented and I can't wait to see pictures of your darling baby girl!

Oh. My. Goodness. You are so ridiculously talented! I totally get how the algebra came in handy. That is some complex spacing. so beautiful.

Now, go take a picture of Azure. Throw the blessing gown on her while you're at it:)

Do it NOW. I know how hard it is. It takes so much energy, and work, and energy, and work, but there is such a small window...and then it's gone...and then you are mad at yourself for a LOOOONNNG time.

I don't know how anyone makes a cake that's that beautiful! Seriously impressive.

Now. That dress. It's amazing! Incredibly beautiful. The only thing that could make it more beautiful would be having your little Azure inside of it. So go take that picture, and fast, while you still can. You (and she) will be forever grateful.
