    boy hair.

It grows quickly.  And I truly fail at keeping it hairdresser trimmed & under control.  Yes, mine are those children..they only look motherless.

So Jim bought clippers and took matters into his own hands Friday night.

While I do think that non-attached hair is a little vulgar, I couldn't resist snapping this shot because of the unbelievable pile on the floor after two tiny boys' cuts.

And then I cut Jim's.  And did a damn good job.
    ...if I say so myself.

That looks like my floor the other night, but if you can believe it there was more hair. Talin grows hair like crazy, most of it was his.

I took those same matters on Saturday and had a lot of tears mixed in with the hair. I am not sure why my boys have to be so dang difficult!!

The boys look darling. Good Job Jim!

Boy hair is a problem, it grows insanely fast and can be quite pricey to maintain. I think a home set of clippers is a good plan. I have never actually done the clipping before, but Randy did Landon's hair for 2 years and saved us like $12 every 3 weeks! He can still touch up Landon's hair, but now Landon's old enough to need a bit more style than Randy's meager skills have so we're back to the professionals.

This is when I long for the days of my boys with SHORT hair! I would always be able to maintain them with a zip of the clippers and some spikey hair gel. Those days for me are long gone. Longer hair means a trip to the salon. I think that I just need to learn how to cut skate hair! Geesh!

that is a ton of hair! I'm impressed you do it yourself. I can do Ryley's but wouldn't touch Josh's ever. They look great!

It looks like Davyn and Brynlee have the same tear-filled reaction to hair cuts. They look so cute! I resort to professionals because my girls have so much freakin' hair, and hair cutting is not a skill I was particularly blessed with.
