    dear mike & kay:

This is the photo I snapped as I fell from the rock into the flower bed on the north side of your front yard three weeks ago.

Not a picture worthy of pain to knee, pride, or petals.

    Still.
    I thought you should know.
In case you've wondered why one bed is a *bit* more perky than the other.

    Hey grace,
I wish I could have seen that move into the flowers! Nothing makes me laugh harder :0) Sorry- my amusement is usually at the expense of others!

Oh the things we do for pictures. It's this time of year that I think it would be wonderful to live in Arizona and have that sun. Just don't ask me in June.

I think it was worth it...soaking up the beautiful weather a kodak moment for sure. Sorry you tripped during the process.

Your spooky treats look delic--which I could reach in and grab one! And what a treat for the boys to spend the weekend with grandma and grandpa. Bliss!

Sorry about your fall. Hope your bruises weren't too terrible. You didn't have to confess, as I have been going to pull the hardy vincas and put in fall flowers there, but they (the vincas) are still thriving (both flower beds look great), so I have put off my fall (no pun intended) planting. Maybe the 95 degree days have something to do with that! (Did I really overuse FALL in this response?)

oh too funny! I wipe out all of the time and seem to do it a lot when I take pictures. I am too focused on what I am taking a picture of instead of looking what I am stepping on/over.

You free over nighter sounds wonderful! I have these ankles that give out on me without a moments notice so I am often doing the same sort of things.

I wish I were there for your fall, you always have such amusing falls. Remember in Denver? "Hey Pretty Lady!". Classic.

I am dying laughing thinking about "hey pretty lady" in Denver. Didn't it involve the movies at Tivoli and a certain someone falling on the ice? And was there something about being under a car once landed? The details are hazy, but the phrase just brings back laughter because we said it so many times afterwards.

Mike and Kay's grass looks amazing and don't we have gorgeous children? I do love that last picture where you can just tell how much they all love eachother. I think I want to print up a copy of that one.

I am delighted by this only because I have been personal witness to many of your falls, and I love that some things never change. Your poor knees!

Those Kodak moments! :) I was just over at the Harbertson's the other night. I drove by the Scotts house! WOW, their yard is looking amazing!
